The Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe hauled by a rare, preseved(so they say), South African Railways Class 32-000,General Electric U18C1 High Hood Diesel Locomotive, Diaz Beach, Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa.
The Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe is usually hauled by Steam Locomotives but the use of steam is not always possible due to weather conditions so Class 32-000 Diesel Locomotives are used instead.
Only 3 Class 32-000 Diesel Locomotives survive today: #32-029, #32-042 and #32-047.
